…just for this
you gotta love the japanese…
i mean, even though i only got to appreciate sush after (!) i had worked for japanese
(Stupid! i could have had it so much more when i was still going to lunch with my colleagues every day!), but still, better late than never, right?!
so, you already saw the first couple of results some time ago, now we were going for some experiments and are becoming quite the sushichefs, i think.
we made:
- norimaki with tuna, cucumber and some wasabi-paste
- norimaki with salmon, crabsticks, avocado and creamcheese
- uramaki with red fisheggs and on the inside a tartar from tuna, springonions, some wasabipaste, creamcheese and pepper and salt
- uramaki with sesameseeds and on the inside tempura salmon, tempura shrimp and springonions
- a hot philadelphia, a norimaki with salmon, crabstick, creamcheese and springonions and then dipped in tempura-dough and fried
- temaki with crispy salmon skin, fried salmon, tempura shrimp, creamcheese and springonions
- temaki with tuna and tuna-tartar
- hot roll with salmon, crabstick, cream cheese and spring onion
- hot roll with shrimp, crabstick, cream cheese and spring onion
- tare sauce (which was amazing with the fried/tempura stuff!)
So apart from the pix, reina made two little (instruction?!) videos, for our own memory, to know which combinations we made, because indeed, they were great (we are unwinding from the dinner, as we speak)!
O and we do take reservations
